ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Shot of the Nelson-Mandela-Bridge in Ilmenau (Germany) during a heavy summer thunderstorm. Two intense lightnings illuminate the whole bridge. Its a popular way to reach the university. But during the storm nobody crossed the bridge. A scary scenario.

AUTHOR

My name is Stefan Liebermann and I was born in Sömmerda (Germany) at the 2th of July 1989. I'm a german student just working on my master thesis in physics at the university of Ilmenau (Germany). I found my passion in photography at the beginning of 2015. Fortunately my family enabled me since i was a child, to visit countries like Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Egypt and South Africa. My fervor for traveling around the world was born. Because of my closeness to nature and my wish to understand those I decided to make a degree in natural science. As a physicist with specialisation in optics I have the technical knowledge about cameras, lenses and photography. Since around one year i have the idea to explore the world with my camera. For my target I learned the techniques to capture fantastic moments in nature during my stay in Ilmenau and my journey through Switzerland, Italy and Croatia. I love nature and their phenomena.
