Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2017 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photo was taken in Lofoten Islands in 2017 during a snowstorm. The islands have for more than 1,000 years been the centre of great cod fisheries, especially in winter, when the cod migrates south from the Barents Sea and gathers in Lofoten to spawn. The photo presents one of the many fishing huts.
