Architecture: Honorable Mention 2025 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This beautiful Norman Foster designed building is on the banks on the river Thames in London, and served as London's 'City Hall' until 2021. (The City Hall operation was transferred to a different building after 2021). This image was taken in 2025 when the building was empty. I wanted to show the sleek and distinctive curves of the building, and using an ultra-wide angle lens I positioned the camera close to a prominent handrail and balustrade in the foreground, to act as a 'leading-curve' towards the rounded building.
