ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Tate Modern Turbine Hall is frequently photographed and looks at its best when angled light enters from the windows. A single figure is illuminated by this light and looks insignificant in this vast space. My thoughts wander to dystopian tropes of the individual dominated by large structures, none more so than Orwell's 1984, hence the title.
