Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2025 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This fine art black and white photograph portrays the Hopewell Rocks at low tide in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. Shaped over millennia by the immense tidal forces of the bay, these formations—often called the “Flowerpot Rocks”—stand as enduring symbols of time and transformation. Through the use of long exposure, the motion of clouds and water softens into a tranquil contrast with the rugged texture of stone, inviting reflection on nature’s sculptural patience.
