Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2025 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Drifting silently in a hot air balloon at sunrise, I watched as the first light of day sliced through the thick morning mist, casting long, ethereal shadows across the land below. From this height, the world felt unreal—familiar landscapes transformed into an abstract dreamscape. It was a fleeting, surreal moment, one that could only be witnessed from above, reminding me why perspective changes everything—not just in photography, but in life itself.
AUTHOR
Based in Bombay, I spend most of my time in business, but photography has been my passion for over a decade. What started as a casual interest turned into an obsession—one that I’ve pursued relentlessly, learning through trial and error, refining my craft with every misstep.
As a self-taught photographer, my journey has been about experimenting, failing, and improving. Over the years, I’ve tried to stay connected to this art despite my professional commitments, capturing moments that feel both personal and universal.
After more than 10 years of shooting, I finally feel I have images worthy of a competition. This entry is a reflection of that journey, and I hope it proves that belief right.
