ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Cuernos del Paine – A Symphony of Wind
Under Patagonia’s ever-changing light, the Cuernos del Paine raise their granite spires toward a tormented sky. The wind sweeps the clouds away, revealing in turn the harshness of the cliffs and the purity of the snow. In this mineral theatre, light becomes a breath — a language that shapes forms and reveals matter.
Captured in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park, this black and white photograph seeks to convey the mountains’ silent power — their primal strength and their fragility before the elements. The dramatic contrast between shadow and brilliance underscores the delicate balance between chaos and harmony — between the austerity of rock and the softness of drifting clouds.
More than a landscape, it is an encounter: a suspended moment where light, wind, and earth converse in a single breath.
