ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photograph is a metaphoric expression of voiced feelings. During the course of research the artist engaged with participants to understand their state of mind and feelings. She translated the information and her interpretations into visual documentaries. This photograph uses digital layering as a metaphor to convey multiplicity of thought in persons mind.

AUTHOR
Madhvee uses photography and other time capturing mediums to discover the nuances of places, people and their culture during her travels to different parts of the world. Her passion for travel and photography has given her many opportunities to explore different countries and their cultures. She sincerely believes a successful photograph is achieved only when you are able to evoke the same emotions in your photo that you experienced in person.

Besides capturing people and places, she is also interested in using the mode of photography to capture the social and environmental issues. Her proposed research for the Masters degree in Fine Arts focused on the field of gender ambiguity. It dealt with the concerns and impact described by individuals, experiencing profound gender dysphoria. Often these descriptions were highly intangible and provide great challenges in bringing forward the complexities. Madhvee engaged in reciprocal exchanges to bring forward the subliminal thoughts, through the medium of photography, video and audio explorations.
