ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It had rained the entire month of November and I was pretty frustrated but this particular morning the rain had stopped so I decided to load my camera for the trip to work. I took the back roads and stopped to photograph Reuschbach and continued on the road to Obermohr. As I rounded the bend I was struck by the beautiful light and mist covering the church steeple. To the annoyance of the cars behind me I immediately pulled off to the shoulder of the road for the this moment. There could only be one name for this capture..Heaven's Gate.
AUTHOR
Photography is the art of capturing what you see and feel. I believe that with a true work of art, a piece of my soul and essence is reflected in the picture. If that magic I saw when I pressed the shutter survived the transfer to a digital form and survived the transfer to a print which moves my audience, that is something precious and rare”.
