Landscape: Honorable Mention 2014 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Shot on a trip to Northumberland on the east coast just below Scotland. With the tide coming in I had to move quickly to set up before the foreground rocks were covered by the tide, but just up the coast I could see the storm clouds travelling south, so it was a waiting game but a nervious one, would the storm cl;ouds arrive before the tide covered the rocks. As you can see patience won out out in the end as the image was secured, whist waiting I had the idea to process the sea in high key leaving the rest as was and creating a surreal moment.
