ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The black basalt sand beach near the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is scattered with stranded little luminous icebergs broken from the glacier tongue of the nearby Vatnajökull Glacier. These icebergs drifted into the sea then gradually pushed back by the current and rising tides. This is a truly amazing place to be!
