Landscape: Honorable Mention 2014 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
When I spotted this 'bridge to nowhere' for the first time I knew it would make an interesting minimalist photograph. At low tide it offers a way over a stream onto the beach at Dunbar on the east coast of Scotland, however at high tide it becomes submerged, appearing to lead nowhere. The calm conditions and long exposure only added to the isolation and unusualness of the bridge setting.
