ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photograph while on a hike through the rock formations of Göreme, Turkey. The valley gets its name from the rose-like shape of the rock formations. Ansel Adams inspired this image. January 2014.

AUTHOR
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I am currently living and studying for my master's in anthropology in Geneva, Switzerland. I enjoy drinking copious amount of coffee and traveling light.

I am a self-taught photographer who is constantly on the move. Travel and photography are not simply hobbies for me, but are complimentary aspects of my life. Practicing photography forces me to slow down and observe my environment, despite my generally fast-paced lifestyle. I approach photography as I approach meditation: with mindful intention.
