D.L. Hootman is combat veteran who after 8 years of faithful service to our country had to get out due to PTSD stemming from his convoy duty during his tours in Iraq. After leaving the military, D.L. Hootman decided to pursue his passion in photography and utilized his G.I. Bill to return to school and get a degree in Digital Photography. Today he focuses most on fashion photography with some editorial-type work as well, but his main focus is making a name for himself in the fashion world. Through it all, you can say the camera has become a form of therapy for him; a form of therapy that he is able to speak without ever saying a word...
