ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A school for extremely poor and orphan children in one of the most under develop area in sundarban,west Bengal,India,a taxi driver devote his life to build a school with his small income and donations from other people to give education to those children’s. It’s truly a wonderful feeling to visit there

I was born, grow and live in Kolkata, India, former capital of British India, which has strong and long cultural heritage,I start my photographic journey in very early age but only hold a slr in 2010, before that i mainly shoot with an old film camera, which help me a lot to understand the basic of photography, presently I am working in 35 mm film slr and in digital slr format. My main focus in photography to capture unusual landscape and portrait which can express the internal spirit of a subject in a single frame, I strongly believe “a photo without a story is like a body without a soul”. I am a self-taught photographer; I learn each and every single thing only by experimenting with my camera that gives me a lot of joy, also almost everyday, I spend sometime just by watching the works of the master photographers from all over the world, honestly I learn a lot just by watching and analysing the works of other photographers, As a photographer, I am always interested in black and white landscape and portrait photography; i travel a lot, and every time I travel only to see and capture the world around us, for me photography if freedom.
