ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The sun has an effect on our psyche, because it causes the secretion of serotonin enzyme called happiness. People living in those parts of the world where there is plenty of sunny days are more kindly, cheerful and friendly. This inspired me to design the cycle ‘South’, where I researched what they are residents of Malta, one of the sunniest places in Europe. Maltese portraits were created on the street, in natural light, only in a few minutes of conversation with random people.
