AUTHOR
I often think that there are works that speak only to certain people. For the most part, I feel that when I work for a black and white image, it speaks in a deeper, more profound voice, and to a larger audience. The image becomes more about the light, or the absence of, rather than the actual subject. Regardless of the tone, or the subject, black and white images allow for translation spanning the differences in expression, while still keeping interpretation open to the viewer.
