he was born in 1959 in Turkey. graduated from the university of economics and works as a free lance photographer. he lives in Istanbul with his wife who is an elementary school teacher and their two cats.
his photography journey began in 2001 when he just wanted to take nice photos of his cats. he realized he wanted to learn more about photography so he enrolled to a workshop in ankara and learned the art photography.
he adapts mies van der robe's aphorism "less is more" as his personal motto and tries to reduce the environmental noise of todays world. in his photos he tires to express his personal reality. he says " the beauty of life lies in simple things" and to show this he always includes living things to his compositions.
his favourite photographers are; gregory colbert, ron flick, andre kertez and nurd bilge ceylan
