Photojournalism: Honorable Mention 2014 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Wat Rong Khun, more well-known among foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand. It was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997. The temple exhibits avant grade statements and architecture unconventional to all other temples in Thailand. These sculptures leading up to the entrance of the temple are rather eerie.
