ENTRY DESCRIPTION
"Conversations with Self" is a portrait of my best friend Antoinette. The significance of this photo is that Antoinette is sitting next to her younger self. A young girl, who either has a passion to play the guitar or a bored child forced to take on an after-school hobby. This image makes the viewer compare and contrast the two that sit side by side on a park bench in Brooklyn, NY. Something about Anotionette's eyes that bring a somber undertone to this image.

Shooting shadows is owned and operated by Samantha Cortez-Primo, a photographer and graphic designer based in Brooklyn. With a Bachelor degree in Graphic Communication, for the past eight years, Samantha has been perfecting a visual aesthetic that is poetic and encompasses techniques from romanticism, performance art and graphic design principles. Love Sequence is a series of self-portraits, recording the succession of sleep and the unconscious body language between husband and wife. Exploring photo dynamism, each image was superimposed to create an impact on the viewer of two lovers manifesting forms of abstract art.
