ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was taken at the Prudential Tower in Boston, Massachusetts on June 30, 2015.

There is no real meaning to the picture, or any given reason why I took it. I was simply wandering around when I came upon the fountain and saw the opportunity. Because as an amateur photographer, that is what I do. I take pictures of everything and anything, with anything. And I debated quite a bit about whether to submit this photo because it was taken on an iPhone, which to me, is embarrassing. I have been searching through photos taken with my Nikon, trying to choose one that I feel represents me as a photographer.
But then I thought about it, and decided to submit this photo anyways because my photos are my way of creating art. And if someone can doodle something on the subway and call it art, I can take a photo with a low-res. camera and call it art.
Photographers are artists, professional and amateur alike. And I think we too often forget that.
So this picture, imperfect be it may, represents me, and my perspective.
