ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It's a portrait of my godson - Julian and it's belongs to my photo series "Dreamtime". Dreamtime in the beliefs of Aboriginal refers to the period of time before the creation of the earth, when there was no material existence. Moreover, the Australian tribes believe that it still exists, and you can get there through magical rituals.
My series of pictures "Dreamtime" I started to realize in December 2013 and I still continue it (I have plans to continue it constant). The hero of the series is my godson, Julian, who currently has 3.5 years. Constant is a convention of photos: he is photograph through glass, and I am photographer in front of him. Pictures are taken at different times of the year, with a different interval.
A series of photos "Dreamtime" refers to juxtaposition of real world visible through the window and the home of the world (hearth). Window element here is somewhat symbolic because it separates what is outside of what is inside. Outside here is understood in two ways: as the world and the chaos of events, the same as interior that represents the house, as well as the thoughts of the subject. Outside is dangerous, unknown, and the interior is safe, but also inscrutable (thoughts).
It is remarkable to observe Julian for windows. The bizarre and fascinating is the world of his emotions. My pictures show a different side of childhood: melancholy. Show with how the worried thoughts the child is struggling, as if he dreaming isolated from the outside world. And that's all the excitement for me "dreamtime" - a mystical mystery of the access to ... well and this is a riddle that may surely we adults have access there?

I'm a portrait and fine art photographer.
Photographs are for me a memory of yesterday that is not lost in the abyss of oblivion. The real fun is to collect magical and fleeting moments ... to keep them in the poetry of light. Shooting is about creating a new realities. World under the eyelids becomes real ... a fascinating journey inside yourself allows you to discover a wide range of sensitivity, expand horizons and continues to follow the footsteps of the imagination, because it is worth to get lost in order to find something, you might want to lose in order to "touch" of happiness.
