ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A ray of light penetrates a bamboo forest in Brazil illuminating a lone and beautiful tree.It was a unique moment probably only happening on 1 day of the year when the suns position is perfect.

AUTHOR
I was born in Australia and am a self taught Artist,filmmaker and photographer that is based in Brasil for the past 14 years.My studio is in the National Park of itatiaia in the rainforest of the state of Rio de Janerio.
My career highlights have been over 40 exhibitions of my paintings throughout Brasil;Chech Republic and Australia and winning 18 awards for my films throughout the world including 4 best films.
My entry in the photography world is recent but have won Best Overall Photo in the Ecological society of Australia photocomp 2014,Commended image for Sony world Photo Awards 2015 and Photo of the Day for Nat Geo and the Smithsodian Institute in Washington.
Photography has always been part of the creative process and has heavily influenced my paintings but lately my photographs have become the paintings.
