ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The feast of St. Agatha is the most important Catholic feast of Catania. the third most important religious festival in the world, after the Holy Week in Seville and the Feast of Corpus Christi of Guzco in Peru, because of the number of people involved and draws. The whole city will be celebrating for three days, during which the faithful, all dressed in a white tunic, carry through the streets of the city, on their shoulders the relics of Santa and his statue decorated with huge gold and precious stones. The streets of Catania in the first days of February will be invaded by almost a million faithful.
