ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This amazingly unique insect has evolved through survival pressures to become a master of disguise, able to hide undetected in broad daylight. Lacking the normal brightly coloured scales of other butterflies its wings are completely translucent. The butterfly was wonderfully poised between a frame of foliage that allowed the light to stream through its transparent wings, highlighting its delicate structure.
