AUTHOR
Miguel Matos born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in the United States due to his parents parents missionary work. Miguel showed interest in photography as a teenager reading a Time magazine and seen a picture of President Ronald Reagan by Pete Souza, White House Photographer.

Through the years Miguel Passion for photography grew and in 1992 he attended the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. Miguel first assignment was to photograph and document the Detroit newspaper strike in 1995 for Vance International. After five year traveling for Vance International Miguel decided to study film At FMU in 2000. While attending FMU Miguel worked for IAX Studio as studio manager; after 3 years Miguel decided to become a freelance photographer. Since then he has photographed artists and people from political life, such as B.B. King, Ricky Martin, Chayanne, Eric Clapton, Marc Anthony, President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

From 2010 Miguel represented Prestige Vision as their photographer assisting hundreds of boat builders and aircraft manufactures in the market efforts of billions dollars of yachts and private jets, traveling to every major boat and air show in 4 continents. After traveling throughout the years Miguel found his passion; Landscape photography.

At his core, Miguel is an artist and truly fascinated with life and adventure that comes with it. As an Artist Miguel strive to produce images that capture the imagination. His goal is to produce images that people will want to look at forever.
