AUTHOR
I am an 19 year old photographer based out of Vancouver, WA. My work was recognized by National Geographic in 2009 and they gave me the amazing opportunity to travel to Peru and the Amazon Jungle with National Geographic photographers Bruce Dale and Amy Toensing. My eyes were opened to a whole new world of opportunities in the realm of photography, and it's been my obsession ever since. Since my trip to Peru, I have had the chance to travel to London, and Washington D.C. with National Geographic, as well as independently across the western half of the United States. I am in constant strife to find magic moments where light and landscape collide to create visually captivating images. I am always inspired by passages such as Psalms 19 which says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" and I hope that my landscape photography can be a small testament to the glory of God and to incite the praise that he deserves.
