Photomanipulation: Honorable Mention 2015 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Birnbeck Pier in Weston-Super-Mare, England. A Victorian pier now derelict, once a huge tourist destination in the 1930s where steamer packets would come from Wales with daytrippers. This is the only pier in the world on an island connected to the mainland. Now crumbling, this image reminds me of the whirling nature of fairground rides. This image was originally taken on an iphone and run through the small island app.
