ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Tarren Johnson is an US American artist working on experimental choreography and music.
She attracted me a lot when I have seen her the first time and asked her for a photographic sitting.
During the shooting we talked about her art, her personal experience moving to German capital Berlin and
how people react on her remarkable appearance being half black and half white.I approached to capture all what she revealed to me in one single image.

AUTHOR
Maren Demant was born in 1991 in Wiesbaden, Germany. After graduating from high school she travelled
Asia and South America. At the end of this extended and immersive expedition she moved to Berlin
to study photography at Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule. She has a deep connection to fashion and an
intricate obsession with design, which you see reflected in the graphical and minimalistic approach in her work.
When working on personal projects she is dedicated to exploring the variety of humankind and is
immensely attracted to unique personalities.
