Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2015 (professional)
Bitten Off More Than He Could Chew by Karen Willshaw (Australia)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Floating towards me what looked like a branch; ended up being a very large Bullnose Grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) with an equally large blown pufferfish. It appears before the grouper could swallow the pufferfish, the puffer had exploded dragging both to the surface and ultimate death for the pair.
Certainly not your everyday underwater capture of marine life on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
