ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The touch of melancholy, or the artistic beauty of a rainy day.
This shot of a hand print, composed of converging rain drops on a metallic surface, was taken shortly after the rain stopped. To create the texture, the surface was slightly manipulated "by hand" before the rainstorm. The monochrome style emphasizes the blues mood of that rainy day, back in 2014.
Might cause a feeling of melancholy, sadness, being lost, surrow or even loss of s.th./s.o. beloved. And by that, soak you into it and into the moment. Furthermore into your own deep thoughts.
Might.
Isn't it beautifully satisfying to sing the blues once in a while? It often boosts my creative output. :)
AUTHOR
Engineer, Photographer, Astro-wannabe and nature lover. Plus giving my best at being Explorer, Scientist and Poet,.. A bit of everything, I guess.
Based in the sun-kissed south west of Germany, I still love traveling to other places. Especially photogenic and more remote ones.
What I produce as a photographer, are mainly landscapes, nature and macro shots. But I like to experiment and try out new ideas and techniques in any category. Diversity keeps the creativity flowing, at least for me.
