ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This picture was taken in a vegetable garden after a rain in Brussels.
It's always about frontier.
It's like a world meeting another one and as if they were playing a game, flirting with each other...
AUTHOR
I've got a Master in Biology, I am a 55 years old mother and I am certified in nutritherapy, my actual job.
Main hobbies: photo & painting.
Ten years ago I've decided to buy my 1st mumeric camera and 6 years ago I've decided to take photography classes in order to quit the world of "clic-clac photo" I've been through since I was 20! I never quit the argentic world, and for the moment I'm working on different projects mixing different techniques in photography.
In my work as in my life, therapy, initiation, and photography are very closely intertwined. They are all about symbolic. Symbols within and around us. Through my artistic work (photography and painting) I talk mainly about the notion of border. Being born and having spent many years overseas, I firts perceived this notion as a physical one. Whether physical, geographical or intimate, frontiers, borders, boundaries are everywher, so it made me wonder about their usefulness and necessity.
They delimit a territory, what is inside is what is outside, what is outside is what is inside...
