Architecture: Honorable Mention 2016 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Shetland Islands, Scotland, March 2015.
a lonely cottage in the north of Scotland in a flat day, I'm glad of this photo because it represents that flatness that I and my camera had in front of us at that time, around of us there was a calm made of geometric shadows very fascinating. Black and white were simply already real even before my click and I loved that little house in the instant in which she gave a new face to the surrounding area.
AUTHOR
I'm Italian I was born in Naples, I'm 24 and I cultivate the passion for art since the high school years.
Over the years I approached the photography, discovering through everything that's out what I carry inside. I attended a course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and I continued to deepen this form of expression at the Centro Studi ILAS.
I moved a year ago in Scotland, in Edinburgh, I would like to keep traveling to know other realities, get in touch with different cultures and traditions.
I think the best way to know yourself is the dialogue with those around us and speak through photography, that we are behind the lens or on the other side is wonderful. I embarked on this path especially fascinated by the man, by what hides and what instead is under everybody's eyes and you can not always perceive, from the looks that for a moment become my look; the authenticity of the people, their dynamism, spontaneity with which they carry the ordinary.
