Architecture: Honorable Mention 2016 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Photo " Bologna" is a pinhole Photo.
I'm going back to the roots of photography: I just need a simple black box with a hole and photosensitive paper.
For me pinhole photography reflects the memory of photography. The essence of photography, the light can be experienced directly.
My pinhole photos tell of transformation and processes of change by the light that enters into the camera during the photographic recording process .
They are slow photos which require long exposure times.
My items are spaces, urban spaces and empty showrooms.
Changes of the camera position during the exposure arise superimposes. A montage is formed within the camera. The spaces and rooms dissolve into their architectural parts: new spaces and new forms emerge.
The work with the pinhole camera is not absolutely predictable, but experimentally. The coincidence is part of the composition. It requires improvisation.
