Architecture: Honorable Mention 2016 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A detail of Gasometer towers, two former gas tanks now up-cycled into amazing living quarters. Gasometer was build in the end of 19th century in stark industrial design with many details in form of bricks and metal. AS said, nowadays this is an urban complex renovated at the end of 20th century by 4 different star architects. Many details were preserved and this image is an ode to a metal bird connecting two of the Gasometer towers. Image was taken by a tilt-shift lens, maximum tiled with vertical camera position and a strong ND filter to achieve long exposure. Gasometer, Vienna
