AUTHOR
Jaroslav Mares (1958), graduate of the Brno University of Technology, is an amateur photographer who lives in Policka in the Czech Republic. He has been photographing since his childhood, but more intensively he has working with camera last fifteen years. His favorites topics are people, architecture and conceptual photograph.
His works have been published more times in photographic magazines, he has won more than thirty awards in photographic competitions, has made ten author exhibitions and has participated in many others.
His favorite photo quotation is from Elliott Erwitt: "Photography is the art of observing, finding something extraordinary in an ordinary place. It is not important what you see but how you see it."
