ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Space Between was a project where I was focusing on the space between the camera and the model while also showing off garments with a bit of elegance and attitude. I photographed them with 120 film on a Hasselblad camera to play around with the idea of timelessness in black and white photography in contrast to the timely idea of digital images being used for social media like Instagram. Instagram is now a huge platform for fashion advertisement. The square format of the Hasselblad helped out in expressing this square format of Instagram. Depth was really important while taking these photographs which is why one of the models arms extending out into the viewers space, while the model goes back into space.
