ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In the summer of 2016, we learned in Dharamshala that a group of Thai Buddhist monks were undergoing an on-foot pilgrimage from Dharamshala, Himachal to Leh, Ladakh. By coincidence, two weeks later, we spotted the monks along the highroads of Leh-Manali, which laid itself along the shoulders and creeks the Himalayas. Seeing their pilgrimage reminds us of the power of beliefs, faiths, courage, and respect to nature. Together in cities and towns we could easily fool ourselves that we have all the capabilities to overcome nature, but under the immense landscape of the Himalayas, we could only begin to realize that we are just minuscule pixels in the world.
