ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Roker Pier was built at the turn of the twentieth century and protects Sunderland harbour on the north east cost of England. The wall pictured is a popular subject for artists of all types, with it's graceful curve and lighthouse. This particular image was captured on a grey day in November and the long exposure technique and subsequent processing have accentuated the shape and peaceful nature of the day.
