Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2016 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
During the winter months on Australia`s east coast,low pressure storms form. The intense driving rain and sea swell erodes the beach, the no swimming or fishing is heard on the radio and television. This was taken at North Curl Curl a beach suburb of Sydney.
AUTHOR
Born 1945, Peter was conscripted into the Army and served in the infantry during the Vietnam War witnessing life in the raw.
Spending 30 odd years flying as a Flight Attendant, during which time the images of constant travel and life overseas remained with him. During retirement the need for artistic release prompted him to take night courses on photography, expanding a long search for chasing light.
