Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2016 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Photography is one of our hobbies and we like to combine that with holidays around the world.
In 2015 we were in America for the first time and travelled around Arizona and Utah.
One of the highlights on that vacation was a campingtrip in Monument Valley.
Because it's protected Navajo country, you're only allowed to make these trips under guiding of a Navajo indian.
He brought us up a cliff with a great view over the entire valley, from an angle that not much people will experience.
I was surprised by the beauty of the red rockformations and the small tree in front was a small bonus.
After taking pictures of the sunset, it was time for diner. Our guide made a tasteful meal on a campfire. While eating, the sky was lighted by millions of stars, another dream came through, a beautyful view at the milky way.
We didn't got much sleep that night. We kept looking at the sky and enjoyed our little time here at this magnificence place.
AUTHOR
I've been completely deaf since I was born. I have a great passion for photography from my father, I also learned a lot with sharp looking at continuous left, right, top, bottom, in distance and not only right in front of it. Also feel, look and patience off the ground during walk so that animals do not immediately run away. My interests in photography are landscape images, nature and travel and only recently also for minimalism and urbex.
