ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This image is part of a work entitled Tramas (Weaves). It starts from a simple concept: By looking upwards, what can we see? Regardless of place, trees, when seen from bellow, can show intricate patterns that might relate to the area they are in or to other natural patterns.
This particular image shows a spiral irradiating its branches from the center and can be interpreted as an analogy to how several bacteria and fungi spread in a similar pattern, or how certain cerebral structures have a similar topology.
