ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photograph was taken in the most dangerous and violent city in the world - San Pedro Sula (Honduras, Central America, 2013). I saw this Honduran kid playing with a cute, black cat behind the fence. After approaching them, the boy lifted up the cat, creating a simple juxtaposed story.

AUTHOR
Arek Rataj (born 24 December 1983) is a Polish journalist, contemporary street photographer, educator.

He studied sociology and journalism. Attended The Poznan School of Social Sciences in Poland and earned a master's degree in social communication. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a language teacher in Europe (England), Central America (Honduras) and Asia (China).

Member of photography collectives Bluestreets (bluestreets.org), The Orange Moon (theorangemooncollective.com), Black and White Street (blackandwhitestreet.com) and Streets in Color (streetsincolor.com).
