ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This project was born on the road that leads me home. He was struck by the image of man carrying in his hands a huge cross. I realized that I was in the square of Porta Palazzo market, one of the largest squares of Turin, which houses every day one of the largest outdoor markets in Europe. So I began to document the work of these men.
Every day at 8 PM, begins a liturgical ritual. Every day A-MAN carries a cross, this serves to build a piece of a market stall that will be used for fruit and vegetable market of Porta Palazzo, gestures are repeated dozens of times, taking wooden planks, metal rods and the crosses. This "ritual" takes place every day, all year, under the summer sun or the wind of a thunderstorm. I met these Arab men, each with a story, a past and a future that carry with their hands, clutching a cross.
