AUTHOR
Born and grown up at the baltic sea, Nowinski started taking pictures at a very early age. Starting with photography on film, she soon started to switch over to digital images due to it's bigger range of possibilities.
Living in Münster and Düsseldorf, Germany, Nowinski moved to Karlsruhe, Germany in 2013.
In her Studio in Karlsruhe, Nowinski implements her creative ideas.
Through minimalistic lighting and image composing, Nowinski creates almost morbid appearing compositions, which is only accessible if you look closer. The transformation to black and white gives this mood even more emphasis.
Mostly she's doing nude art, but also likes to work out sociocritical or political topics, for example with kids or animals.
Nowinski works on her models like they're a living canvas and develops right there her ideas with complex make-ups and costumes.
With her love for the detail, her photos are well thought-through and composed and done. Her idea is to take exactly that kind of pictures she has in her mind to use no photoshop or else, except for creating her unique monochrome style. Therefore most of her works are exactly taken as you can see them.
Nowinski is inspired by music, books, legends, works of other artist or actual political situations,
