ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Japanese macaque, commonly known as the snow monkey because they live in areas where snow covers the ground for months each year. They have brown-grey fur, red faces, and short tails. This picture was taken in Jigokudani hell valley in Japan, it is the most popular place for watching the bathing monkeys in a hot spring. The monkeys are used to the tourists, and they will display their most natural selfs despite non stop clicking sound of the cameras.
