ENTRY DESCRIPTION

Here, I present the results of working for several hours a day, every day, for three years! I started out by constructing a pond with a camouflaged construction to enable me to capture images of canaries in flight, reflected in the water. After carefully placing flashes on each side of the birds and one to illuminate the background, I waited for the birds to arrive. The birds came along, initially one at a time, but after months of waiting patiently, they finally arrived in groups and I was able to achieve the shots I had planned.
