ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This was one of the first Great Hammerheads to be sighted for the 2015 season, a shark that had visited Bimini's waters in previous years. These large sharks are enigmatic and have beautiful form. Though protected in the Bahamas, these large sharks are at threat when leave the shark sanctuary and cross the Gulf Stream, many of these Hammerheads are targeted by fishermen for sport or commercial value.
