ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Early in the morning when the sun was low in the sky, I saw this butterfly. But there was nothing interesting about the scene. Then after shooting for about half an hour I noticed how the sunlight from the behind was making the translucent butterfly glow. After multiple trials and errors I was able to shoot exactly when it opened it's wings to fly and framed it against the dark background which added contrast. This is how this photograph was made.
