ENTRY DESCRIPTION
These Caribbean reef sharks (carcharhinus perezi) were photographed in Bimini, Bahamas. One of many species of shark to frequent the area, these sharks are fairly large and well used to snorkelers or divers. Though a common species, they are still threatened outside of the Bahamas shark sanctuary, and can be targeted for their meat, fins or oil.
